The CanSouth Christmas Lunch and Skating Party, please note that
we have changed the original date, will take place on Saturday,
December 10th at 11:00 am at the Oxford Pub, 319
Fayetteville Street, Suite 105; Santa will make an appearance at
12:15; and then we'll head for a skate on the outdoor rink in
downtown Raleigh….
Lunch: 11:00 am
Everyone will be asked to pay for their respective lunches and
there will be a set menu to choose from.
We ask that you please bring a wrapped gift for your child so
that Santa has something to give to them.
Skating: 1:00 pm
Admission is $8 and includes skate rentals. Depending on how
many people confirm, we may be able to get a group discount.

Canadian Business Association of North Carolina hosts North
Carolina's Lt Governor, Walter Dalton, at 5pm at
the RDU General Aviation terminal

December - Hockey Night in North Carolina -
The Canadian Expat Network is working with Labatt's on a
grass roots program in the US. This pilot program will begin
in Raleigh/Durham and Tampa, Fla. The events will be
branded Hockey Night in North Carolina and we'll
be watching the Hurricanes play a Canadian team. The events
will have drink special, Canes tickets and free stuff from
Labatt's. The first event will be Dec. 13th with Carolina
playing Toronto. This is the first of 6 events, location to
be announced soon. This event is for Canadian expats,
friends and of course hockey enthusiasts. Check the 'Can
South' Facebook page and the Canadian Expat Network calendar
for Dec 13th in the next couple of weeks.
